However, the ability to rationally identify the biological targets of these molecules has remained an elusive goal. Through years of rigorous research to solve this challenge, Glycure developed a robust, high throughput, and flexible platform, which enables to screen hundreds of carbohydrate and carbohydrae-containing molecules at the same time and for any biological target.
GlycoSight is a high throughput screening technology designed to decipher the interactions between carbohydrate-containing molecules and biological targets (e.g., antibodies, viral particles, or proteins). GlycoSight uses our proprietary functionalized substrates to generate arrays of carbohydrate and carbohydrate-containing molecules, which allows us to fast and accurately identify candidate molecules that have the potential for therapeutics development. This platform has led to early-stage discoveries of various molecules with therapeutic potential.
Glypertorie is our screening library of well-defined carbohydrate and carbohydrate-containing molecules. We are constantly enhancing this library with new natural and synthetic molecules. Our collaborations with academic leaders in carbohydrate chemistry have contributed hundreds of natural polysaccharide molecules to the library.
